On October 3, 2009 our church held the LWMS(Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society) fall rally for all the Lutheran Church’s in the district. It was a very successful event. The theme for this event was, “Keep On Speaking” It was a six part get together. First was coffee and snacks ( cookies, doughnuts etc,) second part was the service,  then a break. More coffee and whatever was left over. Third part was Bible Study, the fifth part was  a slide presentation about the religious services in China. Very informative. The Sixth part was business at hand. Lunch was served.         More coffee, the only reason that I keep mentioning the coffee so much is that The old church Goer was in charge of keeping the pots full. Man, can these women drink coffee. I made over one hundred and fifty cups. There were other drinks available too. Water, Ice tea, Juices maybe even some Kool aid.

Many hours of preparation took place leading up to this event. Cleaning, table lay-outs and decorating, Food, which was Spaghetti and Meatballs, red sauce and white sauce, Salad  and warm bread,      This is of course ladies preparing the meal and putting together the Bible study questions. There were eighty plus attendees, including the children   Then it ended with coffee and cake
